How to learn online (Part 2)

How to learn online (Part 2)

I’ll get right into it. ⁣⁣

In the previous post, I talked about the first step to learning online. You may want to read that if you haven’t yet.⁣

Today I’ll explain the second step with clarity.⁣

Let’s start.⁣
⁣.⁣⁣
You are constantly limited by the NECESSARY factors you are least good at. ⁣

As a business owner or a personal brand, there are some core components of your success.⁣

⁣It could be content creation, content curation, marketing, copywriting, website management, audience building, financial management, etc. ⁣

⁣Not everything may be necessary for your personal or business growth at this point, but some things are. ⁣
⁣⁣
I call them the NECESSARY FACTORS.⁣
⁣.⁣
⁣These factors can change over time, but they are specific things that you MUST have to achieve CERTAIN RESULTS.⁣
⁣⁣
You are constantly limited by the NECESSARY factors you are least good at. ⁣⁣

This is a problem.⁣
⁣⁣
But there is a solution.⁣
⁣⁣
There are, in fact, two main solutions.⁣
⁣.⁣
⁣A. Outsource it⁣

This is the solution most medium to large scale brands use. ⁣
⁣⁣
So there’s someone who handles finance, another takes care of sales, yet another is in charge of customer service. ⁣
⁣⁣
This solution requires MONEY. ⁣

⁣You can’t gather people together to solve your necessary factors and not pay them for their service.⁣

⁣Let’s look at the second main solution.⁣
⁣.⁣
⁣B. Learn it and Do it.⁣

⁣This is the solution most small business owners and personal brands use.⁣

⁣You are the chief accountant, customer care agent, cleaner, delivery guy, chef, pastor and social media manager.⁣
⁣⁣
This solution requires TIME. ⁣

⁣You have to LEARN and you have to DO.⁣

⁣But both of these solutions need the second step of learning online to even be possible.⁣
⁣⁣.⁣
⁣HOW TO LEARN ONLINE⁣

⁣1. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT (Explained in the first post)⁣

⁣2. IDENTIFY THE GAPS⁣
⁣This is the skillful process of sincerely identifying the missing factors that are necessary to get what you want.⁣
⁣⁣
Eg. I want to be a Digital Marketer. I’m already good in email marketing. I know the everything about MailChimp, how to automate, how to send mails… I even know the name of the founder. ⁣
But I don’t know how anything about copywriting.⁣

⁣So I can send mails, but the mails can not convert an audience to customers.⁣
⁣⁣
The mails are delivered but they are blank, no emotions, like Rice without dodo.⁣
⁣⁣
I mean, what is rice if there’s no golden coloured dodo (Fried Plaintain) to go with it. ⁣

Do you understand that example? ⁣
⁣⁣
I’ll like to give another example but this post is long enough… So I’ll reply to your comments and give more examples there. ⁣
⁣.⁣
⁣After knowing what you want, identify the gaps you need to fill.⁣

Know the factors you can outsource and the factors you must learn.⁣

⁣What this does for you is, every new thing you learn can almost immediately create an impact in your overall results.⁣
⁣⁣
If your gap was creating better graphics with your smartphone and you focus on learning it, you’d almost immediately see the result. ⁣
⁣⁣
If you are not sure of what to learn online, one way to know what you want to learn is to identify your gaps.⁣

In the next post, you’d start seeing how you can learn on some specific platforms.⁣
⁣.⁣
You are constantly limited by the NECESSARY factors you are least good at. ⁣

Identify your Gaps.⁣

How to learn online.⁣
⁣⁣
To your continued Digital Productivity,⁣
